Moustapha Mbow joins Paris FC!

Paris FC are delighted to announce the arrival of Moustapha Mbow on a definitive transfer. The 23-year-old Senegalese central defender joins Paris FC from Stade de Reims for the next 3 seasons, with a contract that runs until June 2026.

Trained at the Darou Salam Academy in Senegal, Moustapha Mbow joined Stade de Reims in January 2019. Starting out with the national U19s, the tall (192cm) defender worked his way through the ranks, making his first start for Reims in December 2021 against Olympique de Marseille. In January 2022, the Senegalese international was loaned out to Nîmes Olympique in Ligue 2 BKT (12 matches). In the summer of 2022, Moustapha returned to Champagne-Ardenne, extended his contract and was subsequently loaned out to Royal Football Club Seraing in the Belgian top flight. Despite the team’s poor results, Moustapha was so successful that he took the captain’s armband, a rarity for a player on loan. A good reader of the game, with a good sense of positioning and good in 1vs1, the Senegalese played 25 games (1 goal) in Belgium.
