Academy's presentation

In September 2011, Paris FC opened its Academy which was recognised by the French Football Federation in July 2018. At the heart of Paris FC’s training project, the Academy is located in Orly, at the ADP Group – Paris FC Training Center.

Before obtaining its professional status in 2015, Paris FC created a solid foundation by developing the club’s training. By propelling its youth teams to the highest level, Paris FC has become one of the best training clubs in the amateur world, relying in particular on a very rich Ile-de-France basin, one of the best in the world.

With the transition to professional status, Paris FC wishes to continue and intensify this work. A strategic pillar of the club, the Academy aims to support young players in their sporting and academic development. With the desire to keep its best young players, Paris FC wishes to allow young people trained at the club to play with the professional team. This training centre will be the sporting and economic engine of Paris FC.

Jean-Marc Nobilo, Head of Academy

“Paris FC’s ambition is to use the Ile-de-France region, a world-renowned breeding ground, to become a reference training centre. The Academy’s main argument is to maintain a family balance. The DTN’s statistics show that it is better to keep this proximity in order to give oneself the maximum chance of success. With its Academy, Paris FC has quality tools to provide adequate training to young footballers in the Ile de France region, and to accompany them towards the professional world. With scouts spread throughout the Ile de France, Paris FC has the means to identify the players of tomorrow. In addition, we are very attached to the schooling of young people and we attach great importance to it with a daily follow-up.”

School accompaniment

Paris FC is very attached to educational support, from secondary school to higher education. If the objective is to train footballers, the Academy also prepares the men of tomorrow. The club is aware of the difficulty of building a professional career in football and the presence in the training centre is not a guarantee of a professional career. Providing schooling and supporting young people is therefore just as important for Paris FC.

Paris FC has chosen to rely on Sports Études Concept, a company specialising in the educational support and training of high-level athletes, to manage the educational part of the project.

Sports Études Concept ensures the smooth running of the 14 to 19 hours of weekly classes. They are in charge of recruiting the teachers and setting up the programmes. Today, a team of 18 teachers is dedicated to the Academy’s students. The Academy is therefore a public school that only welcomes Paris FC students. The Paris FC Academy is located rue Docteur Calmette in Orly. For the year 2021-2022, we welcome 43 students.
