Mathieu Lacan : “It’s a disappointing draw because we had done the hardest by opening the score, but it’s not illogical for the whole game. We had a sterile possession and we didn’t manage to make any difference to really put them in trouble. Each team had two chances per half. We managed to open the score on a great collective action and a decisive pass from Noé Masevo to Jarod Baltazar, we had the ball at 2-0 before being equalized on an individual mistake.”

U19

FC Sochaux M. 3-3 Paris FC

Line-up : Slimi, Koné, Chiesa, Mendy, Cellamen, Bering, Issifou (Ahamada 46′), Fatahine, Francis, Mateka (Foungala 59′), Beaka (Gelanie 84′)

Flavien Binant: “It was a game full of twists and turns! We knew we were up against a team that scored a lot of goals. With a younger team than usual, we played a good match with quality in the game and collective control. What is annoying is that we took 3 goals from corners. This shows a lack of aggressiveness, commitment and concentration. But what I remember most is that we showed character when we were behind. At the end of the match, both teams could have won. It took a superb save from Sami Slimi and a save on the line from Nobel Mendy to avoid defeat, and at the other end we missed the inevitable, 3 meters from the goal… For many it was their first game at this level, they gave satisfaction. We stopped the bleeding after two defeats in the league, I take a positive view of this match even if we didn’t win.”

U17

PSG 1-3 Paris FC

Goals : Matteo Marester (1′), Danilo Radovic (22′)

Line-up : Moussa Ali, Niakhe, Maye, Soumahoro (Sankharé 63′), Colau, Pages, Sidibé, Marester, Marote, Fofana (Ekoule 76′), Radovic (Busuioc 82′)

Clément Lucas : “We made it easy for ourselves by opening the scoring very quickly from a move we had worked on in training. Then we got sloppy and conceded a penalty which was hit on the post. That was a wake-up call. Against a determined and organised team, which is playing to stay in the game, we had to be good and hard-working to create chances. We were serious in the possession of the ball and we doubled the lead with a penalty. In the second half we managed the game without being in trouble. We had to be careful with transitions and set-pieces. We knew how to respond. It was a controlled match, we showed maturity. But we should have scored the third goal, we lacked realism. But on the whole we were serious and applied ourselves, which is good because we’ll be able to continue after the victory against PSG.”
