Lamine Gueye loaned to Paris FC
A new arrival in the capital! Paris FC and FC Metz (Ligue 1) have agreed to loan Lamine Gueye (23) without an option to buy until the end of the season.
Born in Mbour in Senegal, Lamine Gueye started playing football there before joining Génération Foot, a club partner of FC Metz and known for having trained many talented players there. In 2018, Lamine was loaned to Pau FC (National) for two seasons where he scored 24 goals in 53 games contributing to the club’s rise to Ligue 2 with Moustapha Name. A winger who can also play as a striker, Lamine Gueye was recruited by FC Metz (Ligue 1) in the summer of 2020. In the elite, Lamine Gueye played 40 games (3 goals, 6 assists) in a season and a half.
“I am very happy to join Paris FC. It wasn’t possible last year, and now I’m very happy to sign here. I am an ambitious person and the project of Paris FC is very interesting. I want to do everything I can to reach the club’s objectives and help the team to climb to Ligue 1. I intend to bring my qualities and my experience acquired during my games in Ligue 1”, he declared after signing his contract.
