Biography
Born in Bobigny, Mahamé Siby started playing football at AF Bobigny at the age of 10. After growing up at the club, he joined Valenciennes FC in 2018 where he signed his first professional contract at the age of 22. A model of self-sacrifice, the imposing defensive midfielder (191cm, 84kg) joined RC Strasbourg in Ligue 1 two years later. Also capable of playing in central defence, Mahamé was called up for the first time in his career with the Malian national team last August to participate in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
