Ranking

Mathieu Lacan: “We conceded quite a few chances in a technically average first half. We also played on a difficult pitch. We then reacted very well in the second half and managed to take the lead. We could have put ourselves in the clear but we didn’t manage to convert our chances. So we put ourselves in danger in the last 5-10 minutes from set pieces. The players responded really well after the break, I’m pleased with them and this win.”

U19 National

Paris FC 2-3 ESTAC Troyes

Goals: Djibrill Diagouraga (52′), Yoann Beaka (56′) for Paris FC. Sayha Seha (49′), Ryan Fage (87′), Simba Matubanzila (90′) for Troyes

Line-up: Moussa Ali, Wague, Foungala, Cellamen, Samoilov, Pirès (Khaldi 66′), Diagouraga (Gelanie 88′), Mateka, Luxin, Beaka (Sadocki 77′), Francis

Flavien Binant: “We had a slow first half. We had a lot of difficulties, we lacked collective and individual references with a very modified team because of Covid and suspensions. After the break, we were more enterprising and played higher up the pitch, but we were countered. Despite this, we managed to turn the tide in a few minutes with two superb goals. Then we suffered and lacked efficiency on the counter-attack because we had chances to kill the game. Instead, we were exposed and conceded a penalty in the 88th minute. And worse, we conceded a goal on the counter-attack in the 92nd, which meant defeat. It’s a big disappointment because we have lost two games. We’ll have to put things right on Sunday when we travel to Sochaux.”

U17 National

PSG 1-3 Paris FC

Goals: Anis Fatahine (36′), Abou Soumahoro (45′), Danilo Radovic (53′) for Paris FC. Ethan Mbappé (42′) for PSG.

Line-up: Zurek, Koné, Soumahoro, Niakhe (Colau 46′), Pages, Fatahine, Sidibé, Bering, Marote (Coppeaux 75′), Fofana, Radovic (Galita 65′)

Clément Lucas : “Best way to get back into the competition, match against the leader, objective to make them fall because they were unbeaten, objective achieved. We must not minimize the performance of the players. It seems to me that we had never won in the U17 National Championship against PSG. We were superior to them in terms of athleticism. The players were able to repeat the high intensity runs, and had an impact in the duels. We defended well together. We were sharp on our strong points. If their goalkeeper doesn’t make a big save and we are more diligent in front of goal, the score should have been higher. We conceded very few chances. We were more mature in our control. Now we have to keep going and that will give us a taste of what’s to come as we get the championship back on track. A great performance to start 2022!”
